The province is a member of the Organisation internationale de la Francophonie.
In Quebec, there are 61 education service centers, 2 special-status school boards and 9 English-language school boards.
School service centers include :

- 187 vocational training centers.
Education service centers provide services to 1,200,000 students in preschool, elementary, secondary, vocational training and adult education, thanks to the commitment of nearly 150,000 employees.²
When it comes to post-secondary education, literacy and adult training, Quebec has over a hundred institutions, including 48 collèges d’enseignement général et professionnel (CÉGEPS) and nearly twenty universities.
